Dimensione Mosaico is a traditional and contemporary mosaic workshop. The atelier, with an adjoining exhibition space, is located in the heart of Ravenna and is run by mosaicists Elisa Brighi and Evelina Garoni.
The two craftswomen met while at school at the city’s Art Institute: it was here that they had the opportunity to learn the basics of the technique, and where their love for the craft was born, which they have never abandoned since.
Together they opened their business in 2011. Today they create home furnishing and decorative objects, paintings and panels, as well as modern and contemporary works of art in mosaic, also combining classic glass tiles with more unusual materials, such as natural stone, ceramics and wood.
In their atelier, they also hold courses and workshops for adults and children, to pass on what they have learnt in over a decade of experience.
They also carry out restoration works on ancient and modern mosaics.
