Chiara was one of those artisans who helped me to grow: she wanted me to get my hands dirty with clay, so that I could better understand the production processes of ceramics; she involved me in several of her projects and actively participated in many initiatives that I proposed to her. I met her in a small rented workshop, and now I visit her in the bright premises in front of Palazzo Sturm, which is home of the G. Roi Ceramics Museum in Bassano del Grappa, one of the richest and most elegant museums of ceramics in northern Italy. Her work is in keeping with Bassano’s ceramic history, and I am very proud of her work!
