Assemini is a town not far from Cagliari, famous for its renowned potters. This is why Maria Grazia Gavini decided to open her artistic atelier there in 2008, which she has called Mag’s Jewels.
Through ceramics, she explores and tests stylistic solutions and colours, drawing her inspiration from the island’s nature. Colour, in fact, strongly characterises her works, featuring surfaces with strong pictorial traits and stark colour contrasts.
Her production consists of a rich collection of home furnishings and jewels, finely crafted pearls, assembled into a great variety of shapes and colours.
With her works, she takes part in the most important regional exhibitions devoted to excellence local crafts.
