Liuteria Guarnieri is a project by Alessio Guarnieri, who was born in 1987. After an intense musical education, first studying the sax, the piano, percussion and guitar, he continued at Milan’s Civica Scuola di Liuteria (Civic School of Stringed Instruments), in the section of plucked instruments, obtaining the diplomas of Stringed Instrument Maker and Master Stringed Instrument Maker. He opened his workshop in 2014 and only two years later he was awarded the label of Craft Excellence by the Piedmont Region.
Today Alessio Guarnieri creates masterpieces that mix the rules of classic stringed instrument making with the most modern techniques of construction, to meet the requirements of all guitarists, straddling tradition and innovation. The personalization of the instrument is the added value of his works: a dialogue between the client and the craftsman that helps musicians find their voice.
