Lorenzo Di Stefano is a craftsman expert in artistic majolica. He lives and works in Castelli, a town known for the art of ceramics, a very ancient tradition which became famous in the 16th century. Born in 1975, he graduated from the “F.A. Grue” Art Institute of Castelli and began to mature experience from a very young age in his father’s workshop, perfecting in particular the techniques of landscape and illustration.
Fully respecting the majolica tradition of Castelli, Lorenzo Di Stefano creates lamps, plates, tables and other furnishing accessories in his workshop, all entirely painted by hand, which recall the styles of the past, reinterpreting their elements, techniques and colours with a new inventiveness and sensitivity.
