Agnes Duerrschnabel started her journey as a self-taught ceramicist in 1985. Two years later, she moved to Como, where she opened her studio in the old monastery of Santa Margherita. In the meantime she graduated from the National Institute for Ceramics Design of Höhr-Grenzhausen.
In her workshop she makes jewellery, sculptures and accessories for the home in earthenware and porcelain, with natural inserts of wood and stones, as well as offering experiences in the studio and training courses for ceramic designers and craftspeople. Her products, which include unique pieces on request, are inspired by the value of authentic beauty, which should never be sacrificed by anybody.
