Karolina Bednorz is a Polish craftswoman and designer specialized in ceramics. During her Master’s course in Art and Design at the Academy of Art in Wroclaw, she won a scholarship for the Higher Institute for Artistic Industries in Faenza. She decided to stay in Italy, and opened her workshop in Modena in 2018, where today she mainly produces objects for the kitchen, with a contemporary design. Each piece is carefully studied in its design: Karolina designs the shapes, creates the moulds and uses them to make the articles which she then paints by hand. The objects for the table are conceived to offer a different approach to food: their particular shapes prevent mechanical gestures, making every meal a moment of reflection and thought.

Karolina Bednorz is a young ceramist of Polish descent. She makes potteries available in limited series, mainly objects for the kitchen and for the house, as well as jewellery, characterised by simple lines and a minimal yet playful style, where the white colour of the porcelain blends with pastel shades: these are unique pieces, which stand out for their quality and conceptual clarity. She is currently going through a research phase, given her young age: she founded a co-working space in Modena, thus demonstrating to be able to join her technical and artistic abilities with management skills.
