After a long period as copywriter and freelance journalist, Nicoletta Cicalò decided to become a craftswoman and opened her own workshop next to the suggestive church of San Cristoforo sul Naviglio Grande in Milan: here she breathes life into bijoux and accessories created from natural elements and recycled materials with the intent of finding beauty and poetry in every single object, even the humblest. Her challenge is to transform these into veritable jewels. Each article is a one-off piece that tells a different story and created with an environmentally sustainable approach. The workshop also offers its exhibition spaces as a venue to showcase works by other craftsmen.
