Ceramiche Sartori is a craft ceramic workshop located in a small town near Vicenza, Nove, famous for its ceramics and pottery. The atelier was founded in 1969 by Cesare Sartori, and it was specialized in design accessories up until the 70s. Since 1985 the production evolved to include artistic craft items; today, the workshop creates one of a kind pieces, limited series objects and home décors. The atelier is now managed by Vania Sartori, daughter of the founder and master ceramist, who tends to all the different stages of the production. Vania’s creations, completely handmade, emphasize her mastery in different artisanal techniques and materials, resulting in a variety of motives, colours, decorations, always keeping with the memories of the past, but also looking forward, to the needs of our contemporary times.

Vania has the ability of listening: she listens to the clay and its suggestions of ancestral and modern shapes, and she listens to people, translating emotions, feelings and dreamlike memories into ceramics. She ranges from earthenware free slip casting, in order to create sinuous and always unique shapes, to enamel decorations, from drawing with pencils on ceramics to copper, gold and slicks on stoneware. Architecture, her first love, is as present in her art as femininity, an innate gift of hers. Her hands are guided by the humility of someone who knows there is always something to learn, both from clay and from other people, almost as if her craft was a precious gift, to be treated with love and respect.
