Bottega Artigiana Tappeti is a craft workshop and carpet store located in Verona’s city centre. The atelier was founded by Caterina Scartozzoni in 1986, in Via Ponte Pietra, in the historical heart of the city. The initial project focused on handmade wool rugs weaved on vertical looms and dyed with plant-based pigments, but the atelier soon also started providing restoration services for carpets and tapestries, which today represent the workshop’s main activity, and selling textile home decors and gifts. Caterina, thanks to her inspired creativity, turns textile products and carpets into finished decorative or functional elements. Her workshop is a space where craftsmanship, tradition and modernity come together, a place where ideas take shape. They also provide stain removal services, tapestry and textile furniture setting up and plant-based dyeing.
