Le Cuir d’Andres is Aldo Andres Villegas Castiglioni’s craft leather workshop located in Aosta. Since 2008, in this atelier, they keep the Aosta Valley tradition of leather working alive, crafting each item by hand, including the seams. Thus, abiding by classic and traditional leather processing techniques, each piece is unique: handbags, briefcases, wallets, belts and other accessories are all crafted implementing prime quality materials, all-Italian and certified. This workshop is a welcoming setting, where one can explore and discover the world of leather also by attending one of the Master’s classes. He also holds craftsmanship training courses sponsored by the region. In 2017 he won first prize at the exhibition-competition of traditional Valdostan handicrafts, whereas in the following year he won second prize within the same event.
