Perla Guidotti is a ceramist specializing in sculptures and home decors. In her workshop in Vaiano, near Prato, she hand-crafts truly unique objects for interior and exterior decoration. After working in the field of fashion and design, in the Nineties she discovered her love for ceramics and attended Salvatore Cipolla’s courses. Today she crafts her creations employing stoneware in various shades, resulting from blends she creates combining the material with pigments and oxides. These coloured clays can also be mixed together, thus obtaining marbled effects, or used to create compositions and inlays. Each piece is therefore already decorated in itself, with its own natural polychromy. Her artworks, essential in shape, are able to tell epic stories and evoke scenes related to the natural and feminine universe.
She took part in several exhibitions both in Italy and abroad.
