The Scuola del Cuoio (School of Leather) was founded upon an initiative of two parties: on the one hand, the families Gori and Casini, leather craftsmen in Florence, and on the other the friars of the Monastery of Santa Croce. Nowadays, still inside the monastery and beside the internationally renowned training of artisans, there is a worskshop for the production of top quality leather items for a wide and international clientele. Handbags, wallets, belts and other accessories are completely handmade. The sizes, materials and other details can be customised on demand.
