After studying the goldsmith’s art at Vicenza’s Scuola d’Arte e Mestieri and at Istituto d’Arte Castelmassa, Sofia Morelato graduated in Design del Gioiello e dell’Accessorio (Jewellery and Accessory Design) from Turin’s Istituto Europeo di Design.
Under her own “SofiaM.” brand, she uses precious metals and precious or semi-precious stones to create jewels based on traditional goldsmith’s techniques.
Thanks to an accurate design research, combined with traditional goldsmith’s craftsmanship, she creates original jewels featuring innovative shapes, prompted by her own experience or her clients’ design.
