Vocaturi is a veritable forge of art in the centre of Turin.
Armando Vocaturi founded this workshop in 1965, and over the years has specialised in the artistic working of iron and other metals.
The atelier has always stood out for the technical skills of its master artisans, and their fine aesthetic taste, which have made possible important collaborations and commissions, such as the one with the the renowned antiquarian Pietro Accorsi.
Today the production, which is still entirely handcrafted, is carried on by his son Enrico, and it is focused on the creation of wrought iron home and outdoor furnishing accessories, such as chandeliers, custom-made balustrades for staircases, as well as artistic and decorative sculptures. They also carry out restoration and reproduction work on antique objects.
Some of his most important projects include various creations, such as the lighting design of the Theatre of Casale Monferrato, the lamps of the head office of the CRT Foundation in Turin and the large telescope realised for the drama Fedra, performed in the Theatre of Carignano and directed by Luca Ronconi.
