Arcangelo Ambrosi is a genuine artistic woodworker. In his studio located in Bitonto, near Bari, he specializes in the creation of pipes, as well as custom sculptures and artworks.
His pipes are precious, contemporary style micro-sculptures, featuring different designs ranging from ironic to minimalistic and surreal; from simple, elegant lines to complex and bizarre shapes, inspired by nature and animals. His work is deeply rooted in research: a creative process where wood isn’t just a mean of expression, but rather the main protagonist, with its many features and possibilities. Thanks to his skill and technique, Arcangelo is capable of highlighting the many textures and grains of wood, turning them into refined decorative motifs. His works are a combination of aesthetics and functionality as well as a tactile experience.
