With a degree in interior architecture and a lifelong passion for art, Flavia Turone one day approached ceramics and fell in love with it. Atelier Effetti was born this way: a project, a brand and a porcelain workshop in Milan.
She founded the workshop with the intention of creating a place for creativity, inspiration and gathering, and that is why she offers courses to teach ceramic working techniques; but the workshop is above all a working space, where the crafter gives life to refined and contemporary bijoux and jewellery.
Flavia makes use of the infinite possibilities of porcelain, creating unique pieces with organic, geometric or graphic shapes, enriched by particular textures. Her items are indeed the result of an ongoing research and creative exploration of techniques and materials.
Her inspiration comes from her surroundings: once she has found the idea, the ceramist almost always proceeds with the modelling of the clay, without going through the drawing process, while the handwork makes each piece a one-of-a-kind jewellery.
