Atelier Or.ti.Ca is a goldsmith workshop located in downtown Rome. Here Camilla Michelotti creates bronze or silver jewels employing the lost wax technique: her creations begin as ideas, which are then turned into wax models and later become finished products made out of the chosen metal.
Shapes are random, hardy repeatable and highly textured: her pieces are almost all one-of-a-kind, as each one, even within the same collection, comes from its own separate wax model, thus guaranteeing the uniqueness of each jewel. Only a few of her bijoux, her most beloved creations, are made in limited series.
Therefore, the execution is totally handmade and imperfections give originality and character to each ring, necklace or bracelet.
Great attention is given to custom and tailored creations, made by interpreting the clients’ suggestions and desires in order to provide ever-new solutions.

Inspired by the love for nature and her own origins, after a journey of research, curiosity, visionary inspiration and many helpful mistakes, Camilla Michelotti created a jewellery collection in Rome. Or.ti.Ca. stands for Oreste, Titti and Camilla: her family, her heritage. And it’s thanks to this very heritage, all about art and craftsmanship, that she was able to delve into several techniques, some more traditional, others innovative and even “risky”, but which, from the get-go, allowed her to be free to always move forward without constraining her creativity.
