In the very heart of Oltrarno in Florence, Castorina’s historic wood workshop, founded in 1895, is producing entirely handmade objects and decorations according to artistic criteria handed down by ancient master craftsmen.
Thanks to their wide range of over 5000 articles in natural wood and a rich variety of customised solutions, Castorina are a landmark for designers, restorers and passionate hobbyists worldwide, as well as being a centre of excellence within the Florence crafts scene.
Period home furnishings, widely different frames, friezes, sculptures and a number of decorative objects are on display in their shop, along with raw materials, components and accessories for restorers and hobbyists.
Passion and a deep knowledge of wood allow these master craftsmen to carry forward any production by applying ancient techniques and excellent finishing.
