Cellerini is an craft leather goods company founded in Florence in the late 1950s by Silvano and Anna Maria Cellerini.
The two leather crafters initially made themselves known by doing expert repairs, and thanks to the high quality of their work, after a short time they began to serve the most important families of the Florentine aristocracy of the time.
They soon opened a shop in the centre, in Via del Sole, where the atelier and showroom is still located today.
The business was passed on in the 1980s to the second generation, the founders’ daughter Alessandra Cellerini, who ran it until 2018, when it was taken over by other owners, not belonging to the family, who have, however, kept the tradition intact. With the same craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality materials, the atelier continues the production of bags, wallets and other leather accessories, which are all unique and handmade.
Entering the building that houses the shop and the historic workshop, one discovers a forgotten Florence, and is welcomed by an intimate and familiar atmosphere, dedicated to those who still appreciate something unique and authentically Florentine.
