Fairies Candles Atelier is a workshop specialized in wax processing, founded by Sabina Zingaropoli. Her passion for candles derives from the traditions of her home countries, Ireland and Sweden, where candles play a significant role, especially in relation to fairy tales and Celtic legends. Sabina studied at Rome’s Fashion and Costume Academy, and after many travels, she came back to Italy and opened her candle workshop, “Fairies”, indeed inspired by the world of fairies. Her creations are limited editions or unique pieces, fully hand-crafted using only 100% natural, sustainable and biodegradable materials. Starting from olive tree or soy wax, or certified European bee’s wax, Sabina combines fragrances and pure essential oils with unprecedented ingredients such as salt, crystals, leaves, rocks and sticks, while wicks are made out of cotton or wood, for a crackling “fireplace effect”.
