Federica Sofia is a craft shoemaking workshop in Brescia, founded and managed by two master shoemakers, Federica Sofia and Nicola Buono, partners both in life and business.
After their artistic studies, they decided to embark in a craft trade, dedicating themselves to bespoke and custom shoemaking and footwear restoration.
The idea and project are the result of their desire to create something unique: an ethical and sustainable business that would allow them to give life to footwear that lasts over time and repair existing shoes, turning them into something new without producing more waste.
Their creations, ranging from classic to sporty, are in fact made from recycled materials, albeit of the highest quality, and mainly using stock leather, i.e. unused or discarded by excess from mass production.
With their project diSANAPIANTA, they also repair sneakers: after disassembling them and reconstructing the soles and damaged parts, the shoes are rebuilt and turned into one-of-a-kind pieces, with their own soul and identity.
