Fornace Masini is a historical and greatly prestigious reality in the field of traditional Imprunetan terracotta. Since 1934 this workshop specializes in typical local artefacts, made according to the craft tradition of this small town in the province of Florence, famous worldwide for its terracotta production. Since its foundation, the business was managed by the Masini family, which generation after generation has been able to pass down the techniques and secrets of this art until today, giving rise to an actual dynasty of kiln masters. The production mainly focuses on outdoor furnishings such as vases, planters, statues and fountains. The processing is still carried out the old fashioned way, using exclusively Imprunetan clay, which allows the pieces to withstand extreme temperatures, as low as -25°C.
More than a company, Fornace Masini is a family of passionate people striving to create value and spread the culture of Made in Italy savoir-faire throughout their country and around the world.
