Francesca Vergari is an expert decorator.
In her workshop in Signa, on the outskirts of Florence, she creates wall decorations and ornaments on furniture, as well as restoration works, paintings on canvas and reproductions of antique objects.
After graduating from high school, she attended the furniture restoration school of the Region. She then deepened her training by attending other courses, and learned the secrets of the trade by observing the work of master craftsmen in Florentine workshops. She then worked for large craft companies, including Ginori, where she used to make decorations on ceramics using the airbrush, and for fashion companies, where she made decorations on leather using the same technique.
But her true vocation is entrepreneurial, and after many years of experience she finally opened her own business in 2022.
Thanks to her talent and her great passion for art, she was able to experiment with many different processes: patination, lacquering, application of gold and silver leaf, fresco and trompe l’oeil. Today, her experience therefore allows her to realise challenging and varied works, which can also be customised according to the needs of the customer and the characteristics of the interior.
