Giratine is an all-female project, born in the Fifties thanks to Angela’s passion and know-how, and later handed down from mother to daughter over the course of three generations.
In 2020 Angela’s experience, Monica’s skills and Benedetta’s creativity finally came together to give life to a brand dedicated to handmade bags, crafted inside their workshop in Prato. From their hands and ideas come truly unique craft creations, with cuts and patterns inspired by vintage style, but always tasteful, refined and simple.
These handbags are designed for those contemporary women, dynamic but not frantic, who make time to enjoy the beauty that surrounds them, both dreamers and pragmatic at the same time. The brand’s philosophy is based on the value of time and the importance of slowness in a fast world. Giratine is all this and much more: it’s a workshop of the new millennium, with its heart and hands in the past and its mind into the digital world.
