Ikigai Fabulous Mind is a project by Viktoriya and Giovanni, work and life companions who share a passion for design and craftsmanship.
Their craft start-up is a creative workshop of experimentation and research in Forlì. Here, the two partners design and create furnishings, accessories and decorative objects, as well as prototypes, using a variety of techniques and materials: from leather to eco-leather, from wood to cork, up to plexiglass and metals, which are also combined with each other, thus creating unique and original combinations.
Over time, Giovanni and Viktoriya have also approached vegan and recycled materials, which they consider the future of craftsmanship, such as leather derived from apple, bamboo or malt peel, which are biodegradable and sustainable, but no less durable than conventional faux leather.
Their creations range from marquetry upholstery to hand-stitched decorative panels and pictures, from wallets to more functional furnishings. Each item is handmade and the design can be customised and adapted to any style and environment.
Inspiration comes from nature, and the result are experimental and unique works of craftsmanship and design.
