Il Borseggiatore is a small leather goods workshop in the centre of Cuneo, run by Paolo Filiputti.
Since his parents were shoemakers, he learned the basics of leather work in the family’s workshop and shoe shop, and later as a self-taught craftsman, combining repairs with the creation of items and accessories.
In addition to being a craftsman, his true vocation is entrepreneurial: in 2015, he thus decided to open his own workshop, where he now makes unique pieces, exclusively on commission.
Therefore, his production is vast, ranging from bags, backpacks and shoulder bags, to small leather goods, such as wallets and other accessories, to vehicle covers, and much more.
Starting from the idea and wishes of the customer, Paolo creates the prototype of the piece, which can be refined and customised in every detail. Subsequently, the product is made from scratch, this time with top quality materials, i.e. vegetable-tanned leather, but also recycled materials, such as fabrics and textiles from recovered clothing.
The result is an original and unique piece, designed to last a lifetime.
