Ivan Bruna is a master luthier specialising in plucked instruments.
In his workshop in Rosignano, a few kilometres from Livorno, he builds and repairs classical guitars, according to the techniques of traditional lutherie and with extreme attention to the best sound performance.
Ivan has been pursuing this craft for many years now, and has made musical instruments that are appreciated all over the world. It all started when he was a boy, when he decided to become a luthier, enrolling at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan: a profession that would allow him to nurturing his passion for music, classical guitar and manual work, and to combine them with his precise attitude and aesthetic taste.
His instruments are distinguished by their ease of use and depth of tone, refined detail and definition of sound. In addition to his work, he also dedicates himself to teaching at the same school where he studied, in order to pass on his knowledge to the masters of tomorrow.
