Laboratorio Piroddu is Giuseppe Piroddu‘s charming atelier located in Sennori, near Sassari, where he creates traditional Sardinian folkloristic garments using only the finest and most exquisite fabrics. Hand-embroidered brocade, velvet, silk ribbons and handkerchiefs are the exclusive materials he carefully selects in order to give life to his unique and refined creations. This kind of craft requires a deep knowledge of Sardinia’s traditions and folklore, which Giuseppe acquired through extensive anthropological researches and field studies. All his clothing items are unique, extremely valuable and high-quality, but above all they are true to the original traditional designs and feature rare and almost forgotten materials. The atelier also provides clothing restoration and repairs.

Thanks to his incredible training and his anthropological researches on Sardinian customs and traditions, he is able to restore ancient fabrics with great mastery and create new ones as well, keeping this millenary culture alive and up to date.
