Monica Perin graduated as Maestro in Applied Arts from the Istituto d’Arte Piero Selvatico in Padua in 1992. She continued her training, study and personal research focusing on embodying movement and energy to matter. In her atelier in Cadoneghe, she creates furnishing elements, sculptures and jewellery in ceramics with her very personal style inspired by masterpieces of art history: starting from the figurative, over the years her work has taken on a more abstract style in colour and form. She continues her experimentation into different materials and techniques outside the world of ceramics and her constant research has enabled her to create original and very varied works, honing down the frontiers of ceramics, painting and design to create constant dialogue between different disciplines.
