Nuova Taglieria Artigiana Pietre Dure was started in 1963. It is a modern workshop, specialised in the cutting of precious and semi-precious stones, offering services for goldsmiths, jewellery designers, artists, and researchers in the field of natural gems.
The meticulously designed and equipped atelier offers an exhaustive range of stone-cutting and stone-processing techniques for precious and semi-precious stones. These techniques include all sorts of inlaying and roughing procedures to inlaying, engraving, carving. The atelier also creates watch dials and small sculptures in semi-precious stones.
The machinery used is designed and produced in-house, in order to provide the most advanced processing techniques and to be able to produce finished jewels, including metal and embedding procedures.
Over the years, they also acquired a wide range of raw materials, still available today.
