OfficineLamour is a made-to-measure millinery shop in the centre of Udine: an atelier with a refined and retro style, run by Lara Pontoni.
Lara is a fresco restorer who has always been fascinated by vintage aesthetics and the atmospheres of the past. After living in different cities, she returned to her native Udine. Here she began sewing women’s fashion accessories, drawing on her experience in the field of restoration: the balance of colour combinations, the search for precious materials and the attention to detail.
This know-how, combined with a passion for démodé and a curiosity for the world of millinery, allowed her to approach the typical creative process of the tailoring ateliers of the past, where each item was unique and special.
This is how she started her project, a workshop where she creates timeless accessories and where she carries out a completely handcrafted production, just like in the past: hats, hand-dyed leather or silk flowers and other refined accessories that enhance the femininity of the wearer.
