The Onerati workshop was established in Florence in 1980, specialising in musical wind and percussion instrument repair and soon becoming a precious landmark for professional musicians in this sector across Italy.
In their workshop, where instruments from all over the world can be found or hired for groups and orchestras, customers are allowed to test the instruments on display, including a small collection of historical instruments.
Over the years, the workshop has hosted meetings with internationally renowned experts and manufacturers, while also cooperating with local primary and secondary schools on a regular basis. In particular, the SaràBanda project, launched in 2003 thanks to an agreement with Yamaha Musica Italia, allowed about 2000 young people to join a band.
