Pasquale Liguori is a master ceramicist from Raito near Vietri sul Mare, a small town on the Salerno Coast famous worldwide for its splendid ceramicware. At a very young age he started to study the techniques of ceramic making, including wheel throwing and decoration. Operative since 1975, he immediately started experimenting by combining enamel glazes with various components with different characteristics and the application of metallic glazes to produce works that are truly unique. In his workshop, Pasquale creates hand thrown ceramic objects such as table decorations as well as plates of over one metre diameter. Some of his works are exhibited in renowned museums including the Museu Cargaleiro in Castelo Branco (Portugal) and the Museo Nacional do Azulejo in Lisbon.
