Peromatto is an artistic textile print workshop, born of Antonio Bandini and Giulia Martina Serafini’s love for this ancient tradition, which they dream of promoting and handing down.
In their laboratory they produce and display home textiles and fabrics, which they create with the age-old technique for rust printing traditional of Romagna.
This unique process, entirely carried out by hand, also involves designing and making wooden blocks, researching and mixing colours, and selecting the best quality textiles. Antonio and Giulia make tablecloths, runners, bags and home accessories including baskets and cushions.
Peromatto belongs to the Associazione Stampatori Tele Romagnole (Association of Fabric Printers of Romagna), which works to preserve the historic and cultural heritage of hand-printed fabrics and involves the area’s leading artisans.
