Pierluigi Prata’s workshop is a historic one, in the shadow of the two towers of Bologna: a story of three generations of master craftsmen in wrought iron. It all began with Cavalier Antonio Prata, a student at the Royal School of the city, the current Art Institute. Antonio passed on his expertise both at school as a teacher and to his son and then his grandson in the workshop. Classic and modern objects for the home are made in the workshop, including to the design of the client, together with the repair and restoration of iron objects. The workshop received an award for six years at the International Exhibition of Artistic Craftsmanship in Florence and receives important national and international commissions.
