Pietro Cavalazzi is one of the few master bow makers still to be found in Milan. Since 1983, he has been making bows for all kinds of instruments of all periods, always using top-quality materials.
Each bow is a unique creation joining aesthetic sensibility and utmost functionality, in order to respond to the needs of students, music masters and renowned musicians. His signature is accompanied by the unmistakable symbol of Milan’s Duomo on the frog. Besides working in his workshop, he also teaches at the prestigious Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan.
