RestART studio, based in Milan but operating all around Italy, was founded by Simonetta Capetta, who works in the field of conservation and restoration of cultural heritage. The studio provides top quality services for the restoration and conservation of textile, wooden or multi-material artefacts, specializing in antique furniture and paintings, but notably also trained in the field of oriental lacquers (“urushi” and “qi”), precious items which require delicate preservation techniques. All professionals employed by the studio are continuously training and updating their skills, following specific courses based on innovation and research, thus providing their clients with an all-around service covering each step of the restoration processes. RestART often collaborates with museums, local authorities, art galleries and companies.
