Roberto Bucchi is a master craftsman specialising in working with metal and glass. From these materials he creates sculptures, works of art and handcrafted furnishing accessories, made with his own hands according to traditional and innovative techniques.
His atelier, opened in 2016 with the intention of exploring different techniques and experimenting with workmanship and materials, is located in Agrate Brianza, and is a true forge of art.
Roberto is able to employ a wide variety of techniques, in particular lost-wax casting and glass fusion, with a focus on finishings.
His pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited series, and combine functionality with a contemporary aesthetic. The design, technique and style are the result of long artistic and formal research: his creations are characterised by rough surfaces, strong colour contrasts and the combination of different processes.
Roberto personally oversees every aspect of his work, as production is entirely handcrafted and managed solely by him. This allows him to devote extreme care to every detail, resulting in furniture and sculptures that bear his personal stamp.
