Rossella Casadio is a mosaic artist graduated from the lstituto d’Arte per il Mosaico in Ravenna. She fell in love with restoration when she was studying and started to experiment with various techniques on furnishing accessories. In addition to this passion for mosaic, she also has a love for the marine world, which is her great inspiration and the source of primary materials: sea-aged wood becomes the support for an artefact created from carefully selected materials and colours through technical experimentation and different working processes. In her laboratory in Cesenatico, Rossella creates decorative elements with a unique and unmistakable style: mosaics made from ceramic shards, iron and patinated steel, while gold is mounted in reverse to create nuances and a play of light and shade.
