Ludovica Severi is a young goldsmith based in Modena. After a degree in architecture, she decided to bet on her talent and passion for jewellery, attending a training course in goldsmithing at the Sacred Art School in Florence, which she completed in 2020. In the midst of the pandemic, she moved back to her home town to open her workshop, founding her brand “Severiana Gens”. The name is derived from Latin and it means “Severi Family”: since she started creating jewels employing her grandfather’s coins, she chose this name as a tribute to her family.
Today in her atelier she designs and creates jewels of all kinds, finding inspiration in her client’s desires. Her goal is to forge tiny wearable objects to fall in love with, and engaging the public in the marvellous and complex world of the art of goldsmithing.
