Simone Scapini is an art blacksmith and interior decorator, also known as “the staircase tailor”. In his workshop in Bussolengo, near Verona, he makes furnishings, in particular stairs, but also gates and other elements, all made-to-measure, like a true wrought iron tailor.
He has trained and has experirence mainly in metalworking: he started out in this profession by carrying out restoration works on antique and modern furniture and accessories, dating from the 16th to the 20th Century.
Over many years of work, he has continued to experiment and expand his knowledge in the field. Today, he is also able to create contemporary-style metal artefacts with his own hands, which are truly scenic and spectacular. He mainly uses iron, steel and brass, and takes care of his creations from the design to the finish.

Il ferro si assottiglia e si trasforma in tralcio, i piani si intrecciano e la materia perde il suo peso.
