Simonetta Liscia opened her “Artemisia” atelier in 1999. At first, she created ceramic lamps and home furnishings, thus acquiring ever great experience and manual skills. Later on, she devoted herself to experimenting with different materials, especially glass, which proved to be an ideal means to express her creativity.
Enchanted by the lightness and transparency of glass materials, she applied the fused glass technique to create lamps, vases, plates, charms and decorative panels. Her stylistic and technical research is continuously evolving, giving life to original, identifiable works, featuring copper decorations with sophisticated glass-embedded textures.
