Tamara Valkama is an interior decorator.
Having grown up in a family of creative people, after attending the art school and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Tamara learned the technique of fresco painting, decoration and restoration of wall paintings by attending courses at the Elena and Leonetto Tintori Association and Workshop.
Today, in her atelier and on site, she carries out interior and furniture decoration projects, restoration of frescoes and antique furnishings. With a combination of ancient and contemporary techniques, ranging from marmorino to faux wood, from painted boisierie to chinoiserie, from grotesques to antique effects on floors, ceilings and walls, she gives rooms and furnishings new life and a new light.
The work starts with a visit to the location, where she listens to the client’s needs: each solution is in fact designed on the basis of the specific characteristics of the environment and the customer’s expectations. This way, the result is always original and unique.
In her workshop she also holds fresco painting courses on request.
