Vincenzo Del Monaco is a sculptor of ceramics: he has practised his trade since childhood in the family workshop in Grottaglie, which has been active for five generations. He continued his studies at the art school in the village of his birth, and in 2006 he graduated in Architecture from the Sapienza University of Rome.
His experience ranges from collaborations with architecture studios, participations in important exhibitions and biennials, prizes and awards. He has also worked in design and in creating accessories for the table for starred chefs, including Andrea Berton and Domingo Schingaro.
In 2009, he returned to Grottaglie with the idea of experimenting new paths in the field of ceramics, taking inspiration from artistic craftsmanship and exploring its possible developments in the third millennium. In his workshop he makes sculptures and furnishing accessories with a unique and contemporary style.

Del Monaco and his family’s creativity is limitless. They have made statues and big panels for some important institutions. The sets of dishes, which can be chosen from a catalogue or ordered on request, are top quality, for both materials and designs. There is a huge variety of decorations, ranging from traditional to contemporary styles.
