A visit to Stamperia Busato is a real synaesthetic journey. The prints hanging on the walls and the matrices will catch your eye and make you look all around; the strong smell of ink will permeate your nostrils. It’s impossible to keep yourself from touching all the objects that surround you: the wooden printing press, the cold lithographic limestone and the walls of the 16th-century palace… And then there are Giancarlo and Valerio, always smiling and friendly, as well as a lot of artists that, for over 70 years, have been printing their artworks here, following the rules and the secrets kept by these great artisans.
